Jimmy Brisson f220628f92 Tools: Use logical paths in ignored_dirs 
### Description

Exporting to GNU ARM Eclipse, E2 Studio, and other exclude-based IDEs
currently generats unusable project files online. This is because the
list of directories ignored in the scan is inconsistant about what sort
of paths are used: logical paths, or phisical paths. This patch makes
all paths in ignored_dirs logical. This should fix the excluding tags
in these project files.

Jimmy Brisson 6282b5f0c4 tools: Make "file" key in notifications consistant 
### Description

2 calls to `notify.cc_verbose` used the a FileRef object in place of
the file's name. Other calls to `notify.cc_info` would use just the
file name. This PR changes these 2 calls to be consistant with the rest.

Jimmy Brisson 080c72bb47 tools, NRF51-post-build: Use paths to hex files 
### Description

The NRF51 post build hook finds it's hex files using the Resources
object. This PR fixes the corner case where the hex files within a
project have a name!=path (This really only happens online).

Jimmy Brisson 4aef073327 Export, nb: Use same path for cpp as the rest of the tools 
### Description

The netbeans exporter was being inconsistant with it's invocation of
the C pre-processor on the linker script: the C pre-processor was always
invoked from `$PATH` where as the rest of the tools were invoked as
configured by the tools. This changes the invocation of CPP to match the
rest of the tools: heed the conifguration.

Jimmy Brisson d8b7b3a24a Tools, memap: Silence warnings that we handled correctly 
### Description

Memap will create a bunch of warnings about "Unknown object name" when
parsing a map file created for the RZ_A1H and the GR_Peach. Theses
warnings are sperious; the information in these sections does not belong
to an object file. This PR silences these warnings.

Jimmy Brisson 7a97f480f8 Tools: Ensure vtor reserved bits are all 0 
### Description

The VTOR reserves the lowest 7 bits. This PR changes the round up
behavoir of the application offset to make sure that the address used
for the in-flash vector table always ends in 7 0's.

Jimmy Brisson f8f5bc40f6 Tools: Don't traceback on missing linker script 
### Description

The `mbed compile` would traceback when no linker script is found.
This PR changes that behavior to make that into a NotSupportedException,
which has decent user behavior.

adbridge 8ce2e5ac1d Add back examples updated for mbed-os-5.10

examples were removed from this list due to incompatibility issues.
This PR adds those examples back in:

Blockdevice,
Mesh-minimal,
Bootloader.

This PR also adds in the new NFC example.

Kevin Bracey 0e7eda0749 Remove IAR assembler macros containing quotes 
IAR assembler 7.80 has some problems handling difficult macros, leading
to immediate exit with return value -11.

In particular, a URL string has been causing problems, presumably due to
the "//" resembling a comment.

A previous escaping workaround in 0d97803 seemed to work, but the crash
has still been seen with a particular target.

Previous creation of the extended command line file for the IAR
assembler was stripping quotes from macros. This rendered the resulting
definitions for string-containing macros incorrect, which means that we
can assume no assembler code is currently relying on them.

Therefore, as a precautionary measure to avoid the crash, simply remove
all macros containing strings when creating them for IAR. This
apparently clears the crashes seen during testing of

BUGFIX: Remove account management API calls 
Developer API keys don't have the privileges required to get information about their owners. To correct for this, remove user name reporting and use the API key `owner_id` directly.

Jimmy Brisson e67a2c7692 `mbed dm`: Accept api key and host on the command line 
### Description

`mbed dm` will now accept the Pelion Device Management API Key and
Host on the command line with the following switches:
 * `-a`, `--api-key` accepts the API Key
 * `-S` (note capitol), `--server-address` accepts the Host

 This is consistant with manifest tool parameters
 Resolves https://github.com/ARMmbed/mbed-cli/issues/745

Russ Butler 1ead033423 Add framework for configuring boot stack size 
Add the target config option "boot-stack-size" which is passed to the
linker as the define "MBED_BOOT_STACK_SIZE" so the linker can
adjust the stack accordingly. On mbed 2 the boot stack becomes the
main stack after boot.  On mbed 5 the boot stack becomes the
ISR stack after boot. Because of these different uses  the stack size
for mbed 2 is set to 4K by default while on mbed 5 it is set to 1k.

Additionally, the NRF5X family requires a larger interrupt stack size
due to the softdevice so the size  is increased to 2k on mbed 5 builds.

Janne Kiiskila f1795e3418 IOTCORE-389 - bring back legacy alignment for Arm C6 
Quite a few of the scatter files are not (yet) aligned to 8-byte
boundaries and therefore the removal of legacy alignment feature
(which is under deprecation warning, but it actually not YET
deprecated) broke quite a few builds to this error:

Error: L6244E: Exec region RW_IRAM1 address (0x200001ac) not aligned on a 8 byte boundary.

We must bring this option now back to fix the builds.

This option to ld (--legacyalign) can only be removed once all of
the scatter files have been fixed.

This is to fix linker not finding symbols declared in object files inside static library files.

For this case throwing:-

For this case to include libmbed.a which contains

Mahesh Mahadevan 632892d355 MIMXRT1050: Update to EVK Rev B 
1. Add the IVT header to the binary as this is required for boot up
   This was earlier added by the DAPLink firmware. As it is no longer
   handled in DAPLink, the header needs to be added inside mbed.

Kevin Bracey 81ed8014cd IAR: Suppress C "bypasses initialization" warning 
By default IAR generates "transfer of control bypasses initialization"
warnings for C code - it's a legal construct that frequently occurs when
doing Linux-style "goto error". Many occurrences in Nanostack.

Suppress the warning for C only, to align with GCC and ARMCC. Have to
take care not to put it in the "common" section, as this would suppress
it for C++, where it actually is illegal.

Tero Jääskö 274c3fa690 tools: crash_log_parser: make ELF and MAP parameters optional 
On some bug reports the customer is providing only the raw
crash dump but not the ELF and MAP files. Those files are
needed to decode the addresses into symbol names, but the
extremely useful fault reason can still be decoded even
without them.

By making the ELF and MAP arguments optional, one can now
decode the raw dump content into something such as:

--8<--8<--
ELF or MAP file missing, logging raw values.

Crash Info:
	Crash location = <unknown-symbol> [0x000091F4] (based on PC value)
	Caller location = <unknown-symbol> [0x00018E39] (based on LR value)
	Stack Pointer at the time of crash = [200091E8]
	Target and Fault Info:
		Processor Arch: ARM-V7M or above
		Processor Variant: C24
		Forced exception, a fault with configurable priority has been escalated to HardFault
		The processor has attempted to execute an undefined instruction

### Description
Full paths in the map file are required to have correct memap parsing.
This PR adds the option `--show_full_path` to ARMC6 in every profile.
This option only affects the map file output, so it's safe to add.

PR #6270 added a parameter which allows the user to decide in case of an error or warning to print the output as a link.

Kevin Bracey 586a62a87b Adjust test configurations for EMAC 
Make ETHERNET configuration the default if DEVICE_EMAC is present,
instead of if FEATURE_LWIP is present.

This limits it to targets which have been ported to the new EMAC API.

Add LWIP feature to JSON config, as in principle the targets shouldn't
be adding it themselves. Opens scope to having Nanostack-based tests.

Disable tests for the Realtek and Wifi drivers that aren't ported yet.

Notifier should be passed to build libs functions, otherwise it's
none and fails.

Missing notify object in toolchain also fixed.

Alex-EEE c0103c328b Export folder needs to not ignore .mbed files. 
Fixing a bug.  .mbed is ignored in the high level .gitignore file.  But .mbed is actually a needed file inside of tools/export.  Even though the file is still in the main repo, since it's ignored now, you can easily lose it or remove it without seeing the change.  Adding this .gitignore file here will add .mbed back into the tracked files for only this directory

Jimmy Brisson d338e672de Apply subtract basepath to features 
A bug, #6755, was the result of the `subtract_basepath` function not
being applied to a resources object's children (it's features). This PR
fixes this bug by moving this functionality into the resources class.
Then, I applied the `subtract_basepath` method to the children resource
objects recursively. This has been tested on Partnerbeta and is to
upstream the fix.

Hugues de Valon ebc9289d30 Add ASM include flags in uvision export 
When exporting to a uvision project, the include flags are not put in
the assembly compilation line. When assembling the files containing
includes, the search path will then fail. This patch adds the include
paths to the Assembly sequence, as it is done for compilation.
This issue was found in the pull request ARMmbed/mbed-os#6168.

When exporting a mbed project to make_armc5, the include options (-I)
of the ASM flags are not pointing to the good folder. It should be
pointing to the root mbed-os folder and not the one in BUILD.
This issue was found in the pull request ARMmbed/mbed-os#6168.

PHST 3e59bdcbf5 Add parameter in tools settings to show error/warning as Link 
Per default mbed compile prints errors/warnings on output not in a link format, therefore it is not possible to click, i.e. in an IDE, on the errors/warnings and jump to the position in the file.

The settings parameter lets you decide in witch format do you want to have it.
If it is enabled then the output will look like:
[Error/Warning] [absolute\path\to\file.ext]:[line]:[column]: [msg]

with this format nearly every common known IDE can deal with this link and lets you jump to the file

Hugues de Valon b0027c1e81 Fix a bug using ELF as output extension 
When overriding the OUTPUT_EXT variable in compilation configuration,
bugs appear:

* The bin variable is not None as the 'elf' string is not interned.
* When that is fixed, the function returns None instead of returning the
path of the ELF file.

Cortex v8 architecture based devices support secure/non-secure builds.
Secure build should generate the object file/library from elf during link
process which is used by non-secure binary during linking.

--out-implib=file specifies output library in which symbols are exported
--cmse-implib requests libraries mentioned above are secure gateway
libraries

Creation of secure library is done as part of linking process in GCC/ARMC6/IAR
Non-Secure project should add this secure object file as part of the
linking process.
Secure library is named as cmse_lib.o.

Tero Jääskö faabde13a1 tools: build: fix handing of "--stats-depth" 
The introduction of pretty-bar had broken the handling of
"mbed compile"'s "--stats-depth" argument. No matter what one gave
as parameter to it, the result output is just using the default 2.
Fix the logic in build_api.

Prevent detect_targets.py tool script from crashing on known targets 
As mut['mcu'] can be "None" on unknown targets, the detect_targets script crashes when one of these boards is connected.

This happens when "mbed-cli detect -vv" is ran when a STEVAL-3DP001V1 board is connected. Which does not provide a html file with a target_id, and thus cannot be looked up in the mbedls platform database.

Steven Cartmell b1ea3881be Fix test errors produced by JSON schema after rebase 
- Modified the expected error code in some of the test cases. The error
  message is now issued by the JSON validator.

- Stop validation code being called if no application configuration is
  given to validate.

- Change test mock code to check for specific calls, instead of number of
  calls.

- Derive absolute paths for JSON schema files before loading them, which
  seems to work better with the URI path resolution of the schema parser.

- Added app and lib JSON schema definition files which specify the valid
  keys and values that can be used in mbed library and application
  configuration files. The primary different between the app and lib
  schema is that the lib config requires a name key.

  message is now issued by the JSON validator.

- Added some validation code to the config script which checks the
  validity of the mbed_app.json file when it is initially loaded.

- Added some validation code to config script which checks each of the
  mbed_lib.json scripts when they are loaded.

- Removed manual checks for allowable config keys from within the mbed_app
  and mbed_lib json files.

- Removed the check_dict_types() function which was no longer being
  called.

The new layout is as follows:

0x000000 - 0x008000  => bootloader
0x008000 - 0x00b000  => system sectors
0x00b000 - 0x00c000  => region1 header
0x00c000 - 0x00d000  => region2 header
0x00d000 - 0x010000  => reserved
0x010000 - 0x040000  => mbed file system
0x040000 - 0x120000  => region1 image
0x120000 - 0x200000  => region2 image

This is to ensure when daplink erases sections, both regions' headers
are erased properly.

A COMMON folder allows code reuse across different test cases. This
avoids code duplication or code enterying the application space.

The COMMON folder is uppercase to match naming conventions in Mbed OS.

Jimmy Brisson 527c0a2554 Rework parsing dispatch 
Parsing dispatch now uses a metaclass as a Trait and a series of classes
that implement the trait for dispatching parsing. This structure gives
each parser it's own namespace, avoiding tacking on suffixes to each
attribute indicating which parser uses it.

Seppo Takalo 0d6f760c16 Add minimal debug info to release and develop profiles. 
This allows minimal debugging and allows tools like
mbed-os-linker-report to work properly.

Because debugging info is kept in .elf file and not flashed to device
there is no side effects to flash sizes.

1. move ota region 1 from 0x00b000 to 0x040000
2. move ota region 2 from 0x0c0000 to 0x120000
3. refactor bootloader header as follows:

   uint32_t tag;
   uint32_t ver;
   uint64_t timestamp;
   uint32_t size;
   uint8_t hash[32];
   uint8_t campaign[16];
   uint32_t crc32;

   where,
   a. hash is the sha256 checksum of the payload.
   b. crc32 is the crc32 checksum of headers from tag to campaign.

4. Call NVIC_SystemReset for soft reset.

Christopher Haster 47684d89a5 Added test config for simulated block devices 
Not all devices have enough heap to fit a simulated heap block device,
however using a simulated heap block device is preferred if available
(reduced flash wear, faster testing).

Added MBED_TEST_SIM_BLOCKDEVICE for tests that only need a simulated
block device (wear_leveling + resilience), and added support for targets
that are known to have enough heap.

If map file parsing fails then memap_instance is set to None. To
prevent a traceback when parsing fails check if this is None before
trying to access any of its fields.

adbridge bb579dcfaf Improve domain handling and status checking of updated examples. 
All the examples cloned from Mercurial should use the new
os.mbed.com domain. Thus update corrects that.

A new option has been added to the update.py script , -s which shows
the status of any PRs raised against the examples that are tagged with
the current release label.

adbridge 31407a17ca Move to using command strings rather than command lists. 
Previously the script used
cmd =['git','checkout', branch]
syntax. This does not work well cross platform. The solution it to
actually use strings. E.g.
cmd = "git checkout " + branch

adbridge d2d2b68fc5 Fix the prepare_branch function 
Currently when checking if the destination branch already exists the
command 'git branch' is used. This only returns local branches. What is
actually required is the list of remote branches. This can be obtained
by the command 'git branch -r' and filtering the result.
