4512757 Z-Wave thermostat

This describes the Z-Wave device 4512757, manufactured by Namron with the thing type UID of namron_4512757_00_000.

The device is in the category of HVAC, defining Air condition devices, Fans.

The 4512757 supports routing. This allows the device to communicate using other routing enabled devices as intermediate routers. This device is also able to participate in the routing of data between other devices in the mesh network.

Overview

Z-Wave 16A heating (or cooling) wall thermostat with four regular buttons below the display. Internal, external and floor temperature sensors are supported.

Inclusion Information

Press M-key for 10 seconds to enter settings mode. Press up/down arrow keys to select "NET". Short press M-key, should show "IN". Press M-key for 2 seconds to start inclusion, display will show "i..." .

Exclusion Information

Press M-key for 10 seconds to enter settings mode. Press up/down arrow keys to select "NET". Short press M-key, should show "OUT." Press M-key for 2 seconds to start inclusion, display will show "o..." .

General Usage Information

Note that the exclusion mode "OUT" is not perfect. Also, factory reset does not seem to forget a network inclusion.

Switch

Switch the power on and off.

The switch_binary channel is of type switch_binary and supports the Switch item and is in the Switch category.

Sensor (temperature)

Indicates the current temperature.

The sensor_temperature channel is of type sensor_temperature and supports the Number:Temperature item and is in the Temperature category.

Electric meter (kWh)

Indicates the energy consumption (kWh).

The meter_kwh channel is of type meter_kwh and supports the Number item and is in the Energy category. This is a read only channel so will only be updated following state changes from the device.

Indicates the instantaneous power consumption.

The meter_watts channel is of type meter_watts and supports the Number item and is in the Energy category. This is a read only channel so will only be updated following state changes from the device.

Electric meter (volts)

Indicates the instantaneous voltage.

The meter_voltage channel is of type meter_voltage and supports the Number item and is in the Energy category. This is a read only channel so will only be updated following state changes from the device.

Electric meter (amps)

Indicates the instantaneous current consumption.

The meter_current channel is of type meter_current and supports the Number item and is in the Energy category. This is a read only channel so will only be updated following state changes from the device.

Thermostat mode

Sets the thermostat.

The thermostat_mode channel is of type thermostat_mode and supports the Number item and is in the Temperature category. The following state translation is provided for this channel to the Number item type -:

Operating State

Sets the thermostat operating state.

The thermostat_state channel is of type thermostat_state and supports the Number item and is in the Temperature category. The following state translation is provided for this channel to the Number item type -:

Setpoint (heating)

Sets the thermostat setpoint.

The thermostat_setpoint channel is of type thermostat_setpoint and supports the Number:Temperature item and is in the Heating category.

Setpoint (cooling)

Sets the thermostat setpoint.

The thermostat_setpoint channel is of type thermostat_setpoint and supports the Number:Temperature item and is in the Heating category.

Alarm (access)

Indicates if the access control alarm is triggered.

The alarm_access channel is of type alarm_access and supports the Switch item and is in the Door category. This is a read only channel so will only be updated following state changes from the device.

Clock Time Offset

Provides the current time difference for the devices time.

The time_offset channel is of type time_offset and supports the Number item and is in the Time category.

Parameter 4: Eco Mode

Enable ECO mode

The following option values may be configured, in addition to values in the range 0 to 1 -:

This parameter has the configuration ID config_4_4 and is of type INTEGER.

Parameter 8: Window Check

Enable window open detection

The following option values may be configured, in addition to values in the range 0 to 1 -:

Parameter 10: Frost Enable

Enable frost detection and prevention feature. Note that enabling this mode overrides normal thermostat mode and forces the setpoint to the frost limit, so this mode should usually be left disabled.

The following option values may be configured, in addition to values in the range 0 to 1 -:

Parameter 23: Temp Unit

Parameter 27: Temp Correction

Temperature correction/calibration; in 1/10 °C

Values in the range -10 to 10 may be set.

This parameter has the configuration ID config_27_4 and is of type INTEGER.

Parameter 31: Work Days Set

For week program mode, set which are working days This is an advanced parameter and will therefore not show in the user interface without entering advanced mode. The following option values may be configured, in addition to values in the range 0 to 3 -:

This parameter has the configuration ID config_31_4 and is of type INTEGER.

Parameter 40: Child Lock

Parameter 43: Sensor Mode

Select which sensors to use

Parameter 124: LCD Backligh Work

LCD backlight brightness in working mode; in %

Values in the range 10 to 100 may be set.

The manufacturer defined default value is 100.

This parameter has the configuration ID config_124_4 and is of type INTEGER.

Parameter 127: Regulator Percentage

Regulator percentage; in %

Values in the range 0 to 100 may be set.

The manufacturer defined default value is 20.

This parameter has the configuration ID config_127_4 and is of type INTEGER.

Parameter 134: Dif Celcius

Regulator temperature hysteresis, Celcius mode; in 1/10 °C (step 5)

Values in the range 5 to 100 may be set.

The manufacturer defined default value is 10.

This parameter has the configuration ID config_134_4 and is of type INTEGER.

Parameter 135: Dif Fahrenheit

Regulator termperature hysteresis, Fahrenheit mode; in 1/10 °F (step 10)

Values in the range 10 to 180 may be set.

The manufacturer defined default value is 20.

This parameter has the configuration ID config_135_4 and is of type INTEGER.

Parameter 136: Frost Celsius

Frost limit in Celcius mode; in 1/10 °C (step 10)

Values in the range 50 to 100 may be set.

The manufacturer defined default value is 50.

This parameter has the configuration ID config_136_0 and is of type INTEGER.

Parameter 137: Frost Fahrenheit

Frost limit in Fahrenheit mode; 1/10 °F (step 20)

Values in the range 410 to 510 may be set.

The manufacturer defined default value is 410.

This parameter has the configuration ID config_137_4 and is of type INTEGER.

Parameter 183: Drying Time

Drying time; in minutes (step 5), 0 for off

Parameter 186: Fahrenheit Floor Limit

Floor limit temperature in Fahrenheit mode; in 1/10 °F (step 10)

Association Groups

Association groups allow the device to send unsolicited reports to the controller, or other devices in the network. Using association groups can allow you to eliminate polling, providing instant feedback of a device state change without unnecessary network traffic.
