--- layout: documentation title: U-Bolt Pro Z-wave - ZWave --- {% include base.html %} # U-Bolt Pro Z-wave Smart Lock This describes the Z-Wave device *U-Bolt Pro Z-wave*, manufactured by *U-Tec Group* with the thing type UID of ```utec_uboltpro_00_000```. The device is in the category of *Battery*, defining Batteries, Energy Storages. ![U-Bolt Pro Z-wave product image](https://opensmarthouse.org/zwavedatabase/1532/image/) The U-Bolt Pro Z-wave supports routing. This allows the device to communicate using other routing enabled devices as intermediate routers. This device is unable to participate in the routing of data from other devices. ## Overview Smart Lock from U-tec Ultraloq.  Z-wave support includes Lock, Unlock, and setting user access codes.  ### Inclusion Information To include this lock, you must first connect to it with the phone app. Then, in the settings for the lock, click the "Z-wave Control" option.  Select "Add to Z-wave Hub" Select "Start Inclusion" Then, start scanning for new Z-wave devices in openHAB. If using an S2 Z-wave controller, you will need to enter the 4-digit code provided by the u-tec app.  ### Exclusion Information Connect to the lock with the phone app. Then, in the settings for the lock, click the "Z-wave Control" option. Select "Remove from Z-wave Hub" Select "Start the Exclusion" Then, initiate exclusion in openHAB. ### General Usage Information ## Channels The following table summarises the channels available for the U-Bolt Pro Z-wave -: | Channel Name | Channel ID | Channel Type | Category | Item Type | |--------------|------------|--------------|----------|-----------| | Door Lock | lock_door | lock_door | Door | Switch | | User Code | notification_access_control | notification_access_control | | Number | | Battery Level | battery-level | system.battery_level | Battery | Number | ### Door Lock Lock and unlock the door. The ```lock_door``` channel is of type ```lock_door``` and supports the ```Switch``` item and is in the ```Door``` category. The following state translation is provided for this channel to the ```Switch``` item type -: | Value | Label | |-------|-----------| | ON | Locked | | OFF | Unlocked | ### User Code Access Control. The ```notification_access_control``` channel is of type ```notification_access_control``` and supports the ```Number``` item. This is a read only channel so will only be updated following state changes from the device. The following state translation is provided for this channel to the ```Number``` item type -: | Value | Label | |-------|-----------| | 0 | Previous Events cleared | | 1 | Manual Lock Operation | | 2 | Manual Unlock Operation | | 3 | RF Lock Operation | | 4 | RF Unlock Operation | | 5 | Keypad Lock Operation | | 6 | Keypad Unlock Operation | | 7 | Manual Not Fully Locked Operation | | 8 | RF Not Fully Locked Operation | | 9 | Auto Lock Locked Operation | | 10 | Auto Lock Not Fully Operation | | 11 | LockJammed | | 12 | All user codes deleted | | 13 | Single user code deleted | | 14 | New user code added | | 15 | New user code not added due to duplicate code | | 16 | Keypad temporary disabled | | 17 | Keypad busy | | 18 | New Program code Entered- Unique code for lock configuration | | 19 | Manually Enter user Access code exceeds code limit | | 20 | Unlock by RF with invalid user code | | 21 | Locked by RF with invalid user code | | 22 | Window/Door is open | | 23 | Window/Door is closed | | 64 | Barrier performing initialization process | | 65 | Barrier operation (Open / Close) force has been exceeded | | 66 | Barrier motor has exceeded manufacturer's operational time limit | | 67 | Barrier operation has exceeded physical mechanical limits | | 68 | Barrier unable to perform requested operation due to UL requirements | | 69 | Barrier Unattended operation has been disabled per UL requirements | | 70 | Barrier failed to perform Requested operation, device malfunction | | 71 | Barrier Vacation Mode | | 72 | Barrier Safety Beam Obstacle | | 73 | Barrier Sensor Not Detected / Supervisory Error | | 74 | Barrier Sensor Low Battery Warning | | 75 | Barrier detected short in WallStation wires | | 76 | Barrier associated with non-Z-wave remote control | ### Battery Level Represents the battery level as a percentage (0-100%). Bindings for things supporting battery level in a different format (e.g. 4 levels) should convert to a percentage to provide a consistent battery level reading. The ```system.battery-level``` channel is of type ```system.battery-level``` and supports the ```Number``` item and is in the ```Battery``` category. This channel provides the battery level as a percentage and also reflects the low battery warning state. If the battery state is in low battery warning state, this will read 0%. ## Device Configuration The device has no configuration parameters defined. ## Association Groups Association groups allow the device to send unsolicited reports to the controller, or other devices in the network. Using association groups can allow you to eliminate polling, providing instant feedback of a device state change without unnecessary network traffic. The U-Bolt Pro Z-wave supports 1 association group. ### Group 1: Lifeline The Lifeline association group reports device status to a hub and is not designed to control other devices directly. When using the Lineline group with a hub, in most cases, only the lifeline group will need to be configured and normally the hub will perform this automatically during the device initialisation. Association group 1 supports 5 nodes. ## Technical Information ### Endpoints #### Endpoint 0 | Command Class | Comment | |---------------|---------| | COMMAND_CLASS_NO_OPERATION_V1| | | COMMAND_CLASS_BASIC_V1| | | COMMAND_CLASS_TRANSPORT_SERVICE_V1| | | COMMAND_CLASS_ASSOCIATION_GRP_INFO_V1| | | COMMAND_CLASS_DEVICE_RESET_LOCALLY_V1| | | COMMAND_CLASS_ZWAVEPLUS_INFO_V1| | | COMMAND_CLASS_DOOR_LOCK_V1| | | COMMAND_CLASS_USER_CODE_V1| | | COMMAND_CLASS_SUPERVISION_V1| | | COMMAND_CLASS_MANUFACTURER_SPECIFIC_V1| | | COMMAND_CLASS_POWERLEVEL_V1| | | COMMAND_CLASS_FIRMWARE_UPDATE_MD_V1| | | COMMAND_CLASS_BATTERY_V1| | | COMMAND_CLASS_ASSOCIATION_V2| | | COMMAND_CLASS_VERSION_V2| | | COMMAND_CLASS_INDICATOR_V3| | | COMMAND_CLASS_MULTI_CHANNEL_ASSOCIATION_V3| | | COMMAND_CLASS_SECURITY_V1| | | COMMAND_CLASS_SECURITY_2_V1| | ### Documentation Links * [U-Bolt Pro Z-wave Manual](https://opensmarthouse.org/zwavedatabase/1532/reference/U-Bolt_Pro_Installation_and_User_Guide_V2.1_EN_ES.pdf) * [U-Bolt Z-Wave specification manual-V1.0](https://opensmarthouse.org/zwavedatabase/1532/reference/U-Bolt_Z-Wave_specification_manual-V1.0.pdf) --- Did you spot an error in the above definition or want to improve the content?
