--- layout: documentation title: DCH-Z510 - ZWave --- {% include base.html %} # DCH-Z510 Siren This describes the Z-Wave device *DCH-Z510*, manufactured by *[D-Link](http://www.dlink.com/)* with the thing type UID of ```dlink_dchz510_00_000```. The device is in the category of *Siren*, defining Siren used by Alarm systems. ![DCH-Z510 product image](https://opensmarthouse.org/zwavedatabase/330/image/) The DCH-Z510 supports routing. This allows the device to communicate using other routing enabled devices as intermediate routers. This device is also able to participate in the routing of data between other devices in the mesh network. ## Overview The DCH-Z510 mydlink Z-Wave Siren is a wireless siren. ### Inclusion Information 1. Have Z-Wave Controller enter inclusion mode. 2. Pressing tamper key three times within 1.5 seconds to enter the inclusion mode. 3. After add successful, the LED will light ON 1 second  ### Exclusion Information 1. Have Z-Wave Controller enter exclusion mode. 2. Pressing tamper key three times within 1.5 seconds to enter the exclusion mode. 3. Node ID has been excluded.  ## Channels The following table summarises the channels available for the DCH-Z510 -: | Channel Name | Channel ID | Channel Type | Category | Item Type | |--------------|------------|--------------|----------|-----------| | Switch | switch_binary | switch_binary | Switch | Switch | | Binary Sensor | sensor_binary | sensor_binary | | Switch | | Start sound | notification_send | notification_send | | Number | ### Switch Switch the power on and off. The ```switch_binary``` channel is of type ```switch_binary``` and supports the ```Switch``` item and is in the ```Switch``` category. ### Binary Sensor Indicates if a sensor has triggered. The ```sensor_binary``` channel is of type ```sensor_binary``` and supports the ```Switch``` item. This is a read only channel so will only be updated following state changes from the device. The following state translation is provided for this channel to the ```Switch``` item type -: | Value | Label | |-------|-----------| | ON | Triggered | | OFF | Untriggered | ### Start sound

This parameter has the configuration ID ```config_31_1``` and is of type ```INTEGER```. ## Association Groups Association groups allow the device to send unsolicited reports to the controller, or other devices in the network. Using association groups can allow you to eliminate polling, providing instant feedback of a device state change without unnecessary network traffic. The DCH-Z510 supports 1 association group. ### Group 1: Report Messages The group 1 is for receiving the report message, like tamper event. This is the device's Lifeline group. The group supports 8 nodes maximum. Association group 1 supports 8 nodes. ## Technical Information ### Endpoints #### Endpoint 0 | Command Class | Comment | |---------------|---------| | COMMAND_CLASS_NO_OPERATION_V1| | | COMMAND_CLASS_BASIC_V1| | | COMMAND_CLASS_SWITCH_BINARY_V1| Linked to BASIC| | COMMAND_CLASS_SENSOR_BINARY_V1| | | COMMAND_CLASS_ASSOCIATION_GRP_INFO_V1| | | COMMAND_CLASS_DEVICE_RESET_LOCALLY_V1| | | COMMAND_CLASS_ZWAVEPLUS_INFO_V1| | | COMMAND_CLASS_CONFIGURATION_V1| | | COMMAND_CLASS_ALARM_V3| | | COMMAND_CLASS_MANUFACTURER_SPECIFIC_V1| | | COMMAND_CLASS_POWERLEVEL_V1| | | COMMAND_CLASS_FIRMWARE_UPDATE_MD_V2| | | COMMAND_CLASS_ASSOCIATION_V1| | | COMMAND_CLASS_VERSION_V1| | | COMMAND_CLASS_SECURITY_V1| | ### Documentation Links * [User Manual](https://opensmarthouse.org/zwavedatabase/330/reference/DCH-Z510-Manual.pdf) --- Did you spot an error in the above definition or want to improve the content?
