#### Bucket schema-type

Before you can use `influx bucket-schema create`, you must use the
 [`influx bucket create`](/influxdb/cloud/reference/cli/influx/bucket/create/#create-a-bucket-for-an-explicit-measurement-schema)
 command to set the bucket schema-type to `explicit`.
